In my role as the lead designer for the launch of Hong Kong University's art magazine, SLYCE, I leveraged tools like Figma and Illustrator to create a visually cohesive and culturally resonant publication. My focus was on blending both Western and Eastern aesthetics, carefully selecting color schemes that reflected the heritage of both traditions. I ensured that the design was not only visually appealing but also accessible and legible, catering to a diverse audience. This fusion of design elements provided a harmonious visual experience that honored the global nature of the university’s community, demonstrating my ability to create user-centered designs that resonate across cultures.
