During my time in college, I received a $20,000 grant to conduct a research project in neuroaesthetics, in collaboration with Professor Shannon Heald from the University of Chicago and Professor Helmut Leder from the University of Vienna. This intensive research experience provided me with a strong foundation in rigorous research methodologies, including designing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and synthesizing complex information—all of which have significantly informed my approach to UX writing.
This research experience sparked my desire to pursue a career in UX, where I can leverage my background in research, experimentation, and design. The process of investigating how people interact with and are influenced by visual and textual elements has underscored the importance of empathy and user-centric thinking in my work. I am passionate about using my highly communicative and high-level writing skills to translate complex ideas into accessible and engaging content, ensuring that every aspect of the user experience is thoughtfully designed and executed.
