I created an analog computer crafted from a cardboard box, reimagining the technological artifact as an ephemeral and organic entity. The airbrushed lightbox screen attempts to convey a mystical process behind the paper screen, contrasting with the binary precision of a modern-day computer.
The cardboard, recycled from packaging, ironically becomes a vessel for knowledge. The viewer is invited to engage in dialogue with this organic machine. By retaining the familiar form of serialized machines but reconstructing them with organic materials, I hoped to convey an uneasy reflection on our relationship with technology.
