The Low project for Flo Rida, Djibouti, and Kilhoffer draws inspiration from the nostalgic aesthetic of PS1 graphics, blending both 2D and 3D assets to craft a polished and alluring visual narrative. Beginning with an exploration of pixaliating 3D assets in Blender, I aimed to capture a sleek and sexy vibe that feels both retro and cutting-edge. Thecolor palette was designed to capture neon lights you might find outside a club or a diner. For this, I pulled on memories of driving in Los Angeles growing up, playing house music on my speakers along the flashing lights of Sunset Boulevard.
